Our primary role is to help the board and executive management to protect TSB’s assets, reputation and sustainability. We do this by assessing whether signification risks have been identified and reported, providing a view on the design and operation of key controls and challenging management to improve effectiveness governance, risk management and internal controls. Internal Audit plays an important role in TSB. We are the third line of defence providing independent assurance over the risks faced by the bank.
